Infinity Shower House

Overlooking the extraordinary panorama of the Gulf of Alassio, between Gallinara Island and Capo Mele, this prestigious villa redefines the dialogue between architecture and landscape. The result of a complete renovation of a 1960s building by the Milanese studio MYGG Architecture, the house is a hymn to light and the marine horizon. The layout has been completely redesigned to merge interiors and exteriors into a single, fluid visual narrative, where natural stone becomes the common thread of the project.

The villa constantly interacts with the light of the Ligurian coast. While indoors the three levels are connected by a scenic spiral staircase with a strong chromatic impact, outdoors the façades open up through large windows integrated into a refined glass block velarium. The true heart of the residence is the long seafront walkway: an authentic outdoor living area protected by a generous canopy, enhanced by a hydromassage pool and a fascinating infinity shower suspended over the gulf.

In this high-value context, the selection of Grassi Pietre materials played a decisive role in defining the identity, durability, and understated elegance of the project. The varieties of Vicenza Stone, extracted directly from the company’s own underground quarries in the Berici Hills, were declined in specific textures and finishes to ensure perfect material and visual continuity between the spaces.

For the interior flooring, the use of approximately 180 sqm of Vicenza Stone Bianco Avorio (80×80 cm format) with a brushed finish enhanced the stone’s natural light tone, giving the rooms an extraordinary brightness and a refined tactile quality, expanding the perception of space.

In ideal harmony, the approximately 260 sqm of outdoor flooring on the walkway and open-air areas feature Gray Palladio (80×80 cm format). In this case, the flamed finish guarantees maximum technical performance and the non-slip properties required for the marine environment, perfectly withstanding weathering. The result is an architecture of excellence where material, light, and landscape merge: the expression of a construction culture capable of combining great quarrying tradition with contemporary execution precision.
