Fiore di Pietra - Sculpture Competition organized by Pietre di Rapolano together with the Accademia di Belli Arti in the beautiful scenery of Orti Dipinti, garden community in the heart of Florence, in collaboration with Grassi Pietre, was a great success. Nine students of the Academy, coordinated by Prof. Francesco Roviello, who worked with passion and creativity of Vicenza Stone blocks to realize splendid sculptures themed Nature.
The winning works were the sculpture of Lugpliw Junpudsa who created a piece with an organic structure, curious and original and the one of Francesco de Tommaso who has enhanced the texture of Vicenza Stone shaping a form that can be branch, trunk, vortex as a tribute to bustle and life that made up Nature.
