We are excited to share images of the installation of the Portal and Artwork in Grigio Alpi in 70-88 Oxford Street, London.
The Artwork, designed by David Murphy Studio, subtly references the rhythmic, woven expression of the architecture while remaining contextually sympathetic to his busy location on the threshold of Oxford Street.
The portal and artwork are formed from Grigio Alpi, raised on a dark granite plinth, all manufactured by Grassi Pietre. The scale and the form intends to create a moment of reflection that establishes a welcoming entrance to the new office accommodation.
The work will be unveiled in April 2021, but in the meantime we are happy to share images of its installation who took place in February 2020.
